Let me share an article with you that is well worth reading – not so much for what it says, but for what it actually portends.
The article is from Yahoo News, and it is entitled: “Wealthy Americans are buying second passports as a 'plan B' for their families, citing the pandemic, climate change, and political turmoil.”
The article tells us that “US billionaires, tech entrepreneurs, and celebrities” are driven by the “four C’s”:
“According to Dominic Volek, head of private clients at Henley & Partners, there are ‘four C's’ currently driving the investor citizenship industry: COVID-19, climate change, cryptocurrency, and conflict.”
Now, I don’t know about all of that, because I don’t share Mr. Volek’s circle of friends.
The only billionaire I personally know believes covid was a hoax. He is not concerned about climate change (other than the fact that it gets too cold in the winter where he lives, at which point he heads south of the border). He has bodyguards to ward off the types of conflict that plague the rest of us. And he has his own commoditized cryptocurrency (which one day, I promise to tell you how to get hold of).
I really don’t know any “tech entrepreneurs.” I personally detest the arrogant, officious, and authoritarian Zuckerberg and Gates. I loved Steve Jobs, but, unfortunately, he is gone. And I adore Elon Musk, whom I am sure I will one day meet and ask what he thinks about the “four C’s” (which I feel certain will evoke a quizzical, perhaps even comical, response).
And as to celebrities. Well, I haven’t really been into celebrities since Sinatra died. Scooby, dooby doo.
So, why, you might rightly ask, since I warning you to be more than a little skeptical of the Yahoo article, am I recommending that you read it nonetheless?
Well, because while the content of the article widely misses the mark, being skewed by the esoteric mindset of Mr. Volek’s rarified cadre of elitist friends, his basic finding is right on target: massive numbers of Americans are searching for a “Plan B” in order to escape the decaying stench of a dying culture.
In fact, this paragraph from the Yahoo article thoroughly confirms the fact (even though it is still sycophantically obsessed with Mr. Volek’s wealthy elite):
Latitude, a company which guides high-net-worth investors around the world through the application process, said US inquiries have increased 300% between 2019 and 2021. Henley & Partners, one of the world's largest citizenship brokers, said sales to American nationals increased by 327% between 2019 and 2020 and an additional 10% in 2021.
You, of course, know this to be true, because as one of more than 100,000 Offshore Club members nationwide, when it comes to Plan B, you are the A Team.
For the past year, you have pioneered it. You have defined it and refined it. And if the wealthy have now discovered the trail you blazed, well, good for them. They should pay you some money for Lewis and Clarking it!
The truth is, further on in the Yahoo article, another interviewee actually comes very close to the real reason as to why, when it comes to the impending offshore exodus, we are currently seeing the capillary waves presaging a massive tsunami:
Reaz Jafri, CEO of Dasein Advisors, said that among his clients, “The one thing they all have in common: deep-rooted fear about the future of American society.”
As I said, Mr. Jafri is close. But still no cigars.
As the president of the Offshore Club, I hear from hundreds of good, decent Americans every week. And I can tell you that the reason they are putting together – or have already executed – a Plan B Escape Route is not because of “deep-rooted fear.”
It is because of deep-seated resentment. And rightly so.
They deeply resent that the politicians are systematically destroying the greatest nation ever created. They resent the radical extremists who, not content to live with their own perverse perceptions that boys are girls and girls are boys, demand that we all kowtow to the shemales in drag.
(After all, didn’t our new Supreme Court Justice just tell a Senate committee that it’s actually impossible to tell the difference between a man and a woman anyway. How would you like to be “her” husband?)
They deeply resent that the criminal element is now allowed to victimize the innocent and then walk free. Doubt that? Ask comedian Dave Chapelle. The Los Angeles “prosecutor” has refused to charge his armed assailant with a felony. Just a misdemeanor, dontchaknow? No harm done. Have a nice day.
Or ask the DA’s in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other crime-ridden American cities where they have abandoned bail and decriminalized property theft. Or the state senator in Texas who has introduced a bill to punish those who defend their homes because – brace yourself – the criminals who break in only do it because they need the money. Say what?!
The average, everyday good decent Americans who are leading the exodus offshore resent that ruinous inflation is allowed to skyrocket out of control – while the president joins a bunch of celebrities at the White House Correspondents Dinner and goofily guffaws about it.
They resent that their reals wages have fallen by a full three percent over the past year – while the government tells them they never had it better.
They resent that they have to pay off the loans they were forced to take to pay for their now overpriced cars, homes, and medical care – while the politicians decide to forgive the loans of college kids who spent four years at frat parties.
They resent being treated like second-class citizens in the country they and their forebearers built from the ground up – while illegal aliens are welcome at the border and handed free phones, free clothing, free education, free medical care and free transportation to whatever town they decide to invade.
“Free” – as in paid for with your hard-earned tax dollars.
So all of that is why to a certain and very definite degree, Yahoo News is right: Americans are looking for a Plan B for themselves and their families.
But, not just the wealthy elite – all Americans. And not out of “deep-rooted fear” – out of righteous, rightful deep-seated resentment.
In the immortal words of Twisted Sister:
We're right, yeah
We're free, yeah
We'll fight, yeah
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
That’s why, already hundreds of thousands of Americans – led by the members of the Offshore Club – and soon to be millions and millions more are seeking a new and better world south of the border.
It is not to escape the wealthy elite “four C’s.”
It is to once again be allowed embrace FDR’s “Four F’s” – Freedom, Family, Faith, and Fortune.
So, hooray for them – and you!
In closing, allow me to add that for you to make your move offshore, you do not need to be one of the “billionaires, tech entrepreneurs, and celebrities” who is prepared to “Invest millions of dollars,” as the Yahoo article erroneously contends.
There are countries all over Central and South America where you can invest just thousands of dollars to get a second citizenship, or if you so choose, a permanent residency.
Or, you can do as I and others have long done in Honduras for years: just live as a permanent guest who leaves every 90 days or so (to briefly visit a beautiful neighboring country) and then reenters to resume your normal, wonderful life!
Whatever you decide to do, the good life at a great price in the sun, sand, and surf readily awaits you south of the border…
Where you can once again enjoy the Four F’s to your hearts content!
